Email de-activation scam

The latest scam comes in the form of an email advising recipients that their mailbox is being de-activated and/or been compromised.

All nonsense but there are many out there that will fall for the trick, click through the hotlinks and end up giving away their credit card or bank details.

The email emanates from postmaster@admin.capital-office.co.uk whose website offers virtual offices. Whether that’s a scam as well is unknown.

Remember, there are vulnerable people out there – if you know someone forward this on to them and warn them of the possibilities.
