Support from U3A and Macclesfield Castle Rotary

Macclesfield u3a members continue to provide Community support with the Macclesfield Castle Rotary club to the schools Mock Interviewing programme for 16 year old’s.

The young people at the secondary schools locally benefit from the experience of meeting retired people from a wide range of backgrounds and skills who can provide advice and guidance at a mock interview.  

At the recent interviews, some 240 students at Tytherington School the Headmaster Manny Botwe said “A huge thank you for an excellent Mock Interview Programme for our Year 11’s. The event really helps to develop students’ confidence. The feedback was universally positive and we value all the support you continue to give to us”.

The  next community event for Macclesfield u3a is an open day highlighting the many activities the u3a run at The Methodist church hall on Westminster Road on Tuesday 4th March from 10.00am  See web site for more information and details of groups  www.maccu3a.uk
