Specsavers Macclesfield has donated a selection of new toys to Macclesfield Children and Baby Library.
The library group, run by volunteers, helps families in need with essentials, toys, and clothing donations. for babies and children.
Thanks to the donation, the team will be able to help more families in need, ensuring some children in the local area don’t go without.
Angharad Butler, store director at Specsavers, said: ‘The store was determined to make a donation to the Macclesfield Children and Baby Library as we’re committed to supporting causes in the local community that are making a difference.
‘We’re delighted that we could show our support and hope lots of families will get enjoyment from these toys.’
Shannon Lancaster, founder of the library group said: ‘A huge thank you to Specsavers Macclesfield for their very generous donation. We’re delighted to have the chance to support more families with some fantastic new toys.
‘Our team consists of volunteers so we rely heavily on the generosity of those in the local community, so we can’t thank Specsavers enough for supporting the cause.’
