Will Read Blue Plaque unveiling

A Blue Plaque, for Macclesfield musician, Will Read is to be unveiled at Mash Guru.

The Blue Plaque celebrates the life and work of the multi-talented musician who regularly played at Mash Guru,, as did his equally talented father Roger.

Will, who died on August 7, 2024, toured with Gloria Estefan as backing vocalist and percussionist and in another guise, appeared with The Showbears, on Britain’s Got Talent.

The evening will feature live music from a band that includes Will’s friends, family members and special guests.

Everyone is welcome, free entry.
