Following a serious collision near the Cat & Fiddle Inn Cheshire police are appealing for witnesses.
At around 1 pm, on Thursday 10 April, emergency services were called to the A537 Cat and Fiddle, where a collision between a beige camper van and a blue Suzuki motorcycle had occurred.
The rider of the Suzuki, a 70-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Manchester Hospital by air ambulance, having sustained serious injuries, not believed to be life threatening.
The occupants of the camper van, a 60-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman, were uninjured.
Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and the police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with any dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.
