The Rotary Student of the Term Award was presented to Natalya Corn from Tytherington School by James Anderton the President of the Rotary Club of Macclesfield Castle. Natalya was nominated by the school as a highly achieving and supportive student especially for her work with the Sport Leaders Programmes, and, as a ‘Transition Leader’ helping the year 6 pupils moving to their senior school. The headteacher at Tytherington School, Mr. Emmanuel Botwe, said that Natalya demonstrates her caring and compassionate nature alongside her enthusiasm and passion for Tytherington School. He continued by thanking the Rotary Club of Macclesfield Castle for their ‘massive support’ to Tytherington School and for sponsoring this award.
Natalya said ‘The school have supported me too, and given me the opportunity to help others and organise events. I am very grateful to everyone who nominated me.’
