Italian flavour for Davenport Arms

Pesto at the Davenport Arms is set to open next month following a £600,000 transformation.

The former Davenport Arms pub, in Marton, has been taken over by Italian restaurant group Pesto which has eight locations across the country.

The new eatery will feature open fires, contemporary décor and seat 100 covers

Co-owner of Pesto Restaurants Sara Edwards said: “We wanted our design to really make Pesto at the Davenport Arms become a key local landmark with an inviting, modern exterior whilst still respecting the existing architecture and location.”

The menu will include more than 40 dishes with most priced at around £4 to £5 including seafood, meat, pizza and pasta dishes.
