Appeal for information following fatal collision in Congleton

Cheshire Police have launched an investigation following a fatal collision in Congleton.

The collision, involving a 44-year-old male pedestrian and a Volkswagen car, occurred at 6.40 pm on Friday 24th November 2017 on Mountbatten Way, Congleton.

As a result of the collision the pedestrian, who lived in the Congleton area, suffered serious injuries and later passed away at Royal Stoke Hospital. The driver of the Golf was uninjured.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 810 of 24/11/2017.
