Exciting times for Tytherington Juniors FC

Tytherington Juniors Under 6 Academy, U7s, U8s and U9s players recently attended a training day at Manchester United’s iconic Cliff training facility and 52 excited children from the club were coached exclusively, by Manchester United’s acclaimed Academy Coaches.

Club Secretary Matt O’Brien said “This provided a fantastic opportunity for the players, coaches and parents of the club.”

“As a club, we are so proud of the feedback we received on the day from the Coaching team – who were so impressed with our players behaviour, attitude and commitment on the day.”

“It also gave our players a great opportunity to show off their brand new kits – huge thanks to Hulley Road MOT & Service Station for sponsoring our U6s Academy – to LSC Motors for sponsoring our new U7s team, Adelphi Communications for sponsoring our U8s and to Solutions Workwear for their incredible support in getting everything ready in time.”

Tytherington Juniors FC are a local community based football club – run by volunteers, established in 1987.We have teams ranging from Open Age & Under 18’s down to Under 7’s – all run by FA qualified Managers and Coaches, that are all volunteers. We also have an exciting U6s Academy, where our coaches work with children from age 4 (reception class) until they are ready to join the Under 7s team, the Academy train each/every Tuesday.
