Missing antlers – police seek info

Police are seeking information following the theft of a set of stag antlers from a statue on the Knutsford central roundabout opposite Canute Square on the A50.

The antlers were removed from the statue sometime between 18:00 on the 26^th of June and 12:00 on the 27^th of June.  This is the second time the statue has been vandalised after the antlers were removed in a similar theft in January of this year.

PC Felicity Lawson said “This kind of criminal damage has an effect on communities, impacting on people’s ability to feel safe in the areas that they live in.”
