The Legh Arms reopens

The Legh Arms pub in Prestbury, owned by family-run Stockport brewery, Robinsons, has reopened its doors to customers.

The pub, which has been owned by Robinsons since 1939 and dates back to 1423, was closed for several months during which it was given a sympathetic refurbishment.

Upstairs, the pub’s 12 newly refurbished bedrooms offer guests a place to rest their head after a day’s exploration of the surrounding areas.

William Robinson, Managing Director (Pubs Division) of Robinsons Brewery said: The Legh Arms continues the exciting expansion of our managed pub estate It joins the nine other properties we have added to our managed estate in 2019.  Including the six Individual Inns pubs, the George III in Penmaenpool, the Alvanley Arms in Cotebrook and the Seacroft in Treaddur Bay. We know that the new-look pub will continue to serve Prestbury and beyond for many years to come.”
