On the 9th September organisations around Macclesfield including the Silk Museum, St Michael’s, Macclesfield and MADS Theatre will be opening their doors to the public as part of Heritage Open Day.

Another building taking part will be Macclesfield Town Hall, which will play host to Made in Macclesfield showcasing their makers as a market upstairs in the Assembly Room.

But downstairs in the Town Hall, the Town Hall want to put on a ‘freshers fair’ type event to introduce the people of Macclesfield to clubs, societies and charities that they might not know about.
