Romanian offenders found guilty of theft

Cheshire Police we were called to Mobberley, on 16th March, following a report that two males were stealing from a van in Town Lane.

The men were arrested and, after a successful investigation, charged with ‘Theft from Motor Vehicle by stealing scrap metal from the vehicle’ and remanded to court.

There they received a 10 week prison sentence and received an order to pay the victim compensation.

Police also seized the vehicle used in the commission of the offence and requested a court destruction order.
