Macclesfield police are investigating the theft of a bicycle from outside Burger King.
The cycle, an, orange Ragley Piglet, was left outside the Burger King restaurant, at the entrance to Lyme Green retail park, at around 10 am, on Saturday 3rd August.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man that they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
The man is white, slim build and carries a distinctive cross-type tattoo on his right arm. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a dark green/black vest and a bucket hat.
PSCO Melissa Mellor, of Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said:
“As part of our enquiries, we are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to get in touch with us to help progress our investigation.
“This incident will have occurred in a busy location, so we are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact us if they recall seeing anything suspicious which may aid our enquiries.
“The same goes for anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images as we believe they may hold vital information.
“We would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to get in touch with us.”
