Microsoft calling, you have a problem!

I had a phone call yesterday afternoon from Microsoft.

The pleasant, but concerned man’s voice indicated to me that he was telephoning from the Indian sub-continent.

He informed me that they had detected problems with my computer – error messages had been sent by my computer automatically, to Microsoft, and he was in a position to help me.

As I didn’t have anything better to do I asked him a serious of questions – that only the most ignorant computer user would ask.

After ten minutes or so he rang off?

I didin’t have the heart to tell him I use Mac’s.

If you have a silver surfer in your family – do warn them about this scam.

But, instead of putting the phone down immediately, have a bit of fun and let them run up the phone bill at their end.
