Macclesfield MP, David Rutley, went back to school last week, to talk to pupils at Hollinhey Primary School in Sutton.
David spoke to pupils about the Houses of Parliament and about our democratic values, as well as the work he does as Macclesfield’s local MP.
He then met with members of Year 5 and 6 for a lively and well informed question and answer session.
Following the visit, David said, “It was great to be able to visit Hollinhey School and have the opportunity to talk with its enthusiastic pupils about such a wide range of issues. I know that the school has worked hard over the last year, and will be looking forward to a well earned rest over the summer. I wish the pupils and staff continued success in the next academic year.”
