Despite the foul Sunday weather, a ride-out to raise funds for those affected by the Bosley Wood Treatment tragedy attracted well over sixty bikers and their pillions – all anxious to demonstrate their sympathy and support for the victims and their families.
Each rider chipped in at least £5.00 – and on reaching their destination of Hartington, everyone dug deep into their pockets once again.
Several shoppers at the start point of Tesco Congleton readily helped out and a number unable to ride on the day made the journey to the start line to contribute.
The charity ride-out, organised by the Gawsworth Jesters Motorcycle Club, raised around £1,000 for the appeal.
Riders gathered at the end of the ride at the Queens Arms, Bosley.
Thanks goes out to all who braved the weather with their attendance, you all made this happen.
