Dutch College Band will Swing!

The sounds of the world famous Dutch Swing College Band will be filling Buxton Pavilion Arts Centre this September.

Established since the end of the Second World War, the band has gone from strength-to-strength and today boasts a large number of young and vibrant musicians, intent on keeping the ‘sound’ as big and exciting as ever.

Their huge repertoire includes traditional favourites, fine originals, touches of Latin & Creole and Ellington and Basie tunes. Each number on the set list was created by brilliant musicians who were able to blend together, play in any key, at any tempo, and have a great sense of dynamics.

With a unique stage show and seven of the finest jazz musicians anywhere, the Dutch Swing College Band live performances are a must see for music lovers and even one for the bucket list.

With new band members cherry picked to keep things constantly evolving, the DSCB always offer something new, keeping fans old and new coming back for more.
