The BRIT Award-winning trio Blake will be in concert at Pavilion Arts Centre showcasing material from their new album.
The close harmony group who formed on Facebook in 2007 are known for their extraordinary renditions of both classical and popular music pieces, having refined harmonies from groups such as the Three Tenors, the Bee Gees and the Lettermen.
Blake sang with each other at school but only started a band after being reunited through Facebook. The trio quickly attracted national attention, going straight to No.1 in the classical album charts with their first album Blake.
Hot on the heels of groups like Il Divo and Collabro, Blake’s new album In Harmony offers a rich and eclectic mix of songs with spine tingling harmony arrangements and haunting acoustic backing music.
Audiences at the In Harmony concert in Buxton on Tuesday 15 September can expect to hear hits including Fields of Gold, Bring Him Home, Nessun dorma and Chasing Cars – all in one highly uplifting show.
The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £22.50 and discounts are available. To buy tickets or for more information call the Box Office on 01298 72190 or visit www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
